Interurban Trail

Walked (so far) from my house to Canyon Park. It has taken my days to get out of the house, and hours today to get my shoes on. But today I walked farther than ever before.

You could tell it's spring just by how the mud feels. It's loud and pulls, unlike uncommittal fall mud and clay-like winter mud.

I investigated a deer trail down to the main clearing of the Community Forest. On it, I found a curved, spiralling, smooth shell. I know geological theories of the ocean once touching the mountaintops... and while this isn't the case, I felt again how significantly larger the time of the forest is to me.
